Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 21: The Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration has invited applications from registered cultural organizations based in the A&N Islands for release of financial assistance in the form of Grant-in-Aid (GIA) for the financial year 2025–26.
The assistance will be extended in accordance with the ‘Andaman and Nicobar Islands Rules for Grant-in-Aid to Local Cultural Organizations’ rules dated 03.09.2018. Grant-in-Aid of Rs. 25,000/- will be extended to each eligible organization.
To qualify, cultural organizations must i) have a registered office in the A&N Islands; ii) be actively engaged in the promotion of art and culture, national integration, and communal harmony; iii) operational in these fields for a minimum period of one year.
Interested organizations must submit their applications in the prescribed format, along with all required supporting documents. The prescribed format for application can be downloaded from the website www.andamannicobar.gov.in at the link: https://www.artandculture@and.nic.in, or obtained from Directorate of Art & Culture.
Completed applications should submitted to: The Director of Art & Culture Department, Cellular Jail Complex, A&N Administration. The last date for submission is 10th September, 2025.
