Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 22: Applications are invited from the bonafide residents of Shaheed Dweep for the issue of permits for the collection of sea sand. In this regard, approval has been communicated by the competent authority of Department of Environment and Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Administration.
The applications must be supported with valid land records and duly certified by the competent Revenue Authority. A copy of identity card is to be enclosed with the application to prove the identity of applicant. The applications should be submitted to the Camp Officer at Shaheed Dweep Forest Camp between 6 am and 2 pm. The last date of receipt of application with valid documents is fixed on 8th September, 2025 till 2 PM. Beyond the last date of receipt, no applications shall be entertained.
