Sri Vijaya Puram, April 27: The general public have been informed that two Automated Tsunami Sirens installed at Namunaghar and Shoal Bay will be blown as and when required on 29th and 30th April, 2026 between 9.30 AM and 4 PM for testing purposes. The public have been requested not to panic when the sirens are sounded on the above date and locations and to remain calm during the testing period. This is only a routine test to ensure the proper functioning of the sirens.
