Beach Yoga Session Organised at Nancowry’s Champin Village

Nancowry, June 16: In the spirit of the 11th International Day of Yoga, a rejuvenating Beach Yoga Session was held today at Champin Village Beach, celebrating this year’s global theme: ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’.

The session was led by Dr. (Lt. Col.) Nirmal Kumar Bajpai, Medical Officer In-Charge, CHC Nancowry, and Yoga Instructor, Smti Rajmani, with valuable support from Dr. Shabnam, Medical Officer (Homeopathy). The event saw enthusiastic participation from Village Captain, Shri James, CHC staff, and local residents.

Participants performed the Common Yoga Protocol in the tranquil beach environment, promoting the message of holistic health and well-being. The initiative emphasized the role of yoga in achieving physical fitness, mental calmness, and community harmony.

This beach yoga session served as a prelude to the grand celebration of the International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025, aligning with the nationwide efforts to promote wellness through yoga.
