Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 26: A devastating fire has gutted down about 18 shops and 2 houses during the wee hours at 1 am today (26th Oct). This fire has reportedly damaged properties worth more than 10 crores. Fortunately, there has been no loss of life or physical injury.
Shri Anil Kumar Tiwari, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands has expressed deep anguish and shock over the fire incident. He has expressed sympathies towards victims who have affected in the fire incident. He has also expressed his sympathies towards Shri Sanjib Saha, BJP Mandal President, Rangat as his shop too was gutted in the fire incident. He has assured all the victims that the party stands by them at the time of crisis and has assured all possible helps to them.
The BJP President has sought an independent enquiry into the fire incident to know the reasons behind the untoward happenings.
Shri Tiwari has also requested the A & N Administration to release appropriate compensations and interim relief to all the victims affected in the fire incident.
