Calicut University Reserves Seats in UG and PG Programmes for Students of A&N Islands

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 5: It is brought to the notice of all concerned candidates that the University of Calicut follows the practice of reservation of one seat each for the native student of the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands in UG and PG programmes in affiliated Arts and Science Colleges. These seats are additionally created and reserved over and above the sanctioned strength, but within the statutory maximum limit. In the case of courses for which the sanctioned strength and the statutory limit are the same, additional seat will be created over and above the statutory limit, exclusively for the admission of the candidates. In Government Colleges the Government has earmarked seats for the purpose, the seats reserved for the ethnic natives of A&N Islands will be in addition to the seats sanctioned by the Government.

All the interested candidates seeking admission in UG and PG programmes in the affiliated Arts and Science colleges under University of Calicut, Kerala to go through the website of the University (https://admission.uoc.ac.in/ for details/registration of the courses offered in UG and PG programmes. Registration in the University Centralised Admission Process (CAP) portal is mandatory for admission to the University.

The registered, interested and eligible candidates seeking admission in UG & PG Programmes in the affiliated Arts & Science colleges of the University to submit the application along with supporting documents and proof of registration in the University Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to the Development-IV Section, Secretariat, Sri Vijaya Puram on or before 16.06.2026, so that the same can be forwarded to the University of Calicut for consideration of the admission against the seats reserved for the students of A&N Islands.
