CHC Nancowry Commemorates World Blood Donor Day

Nancowry, June 15: Community Health Centre (CHC) Nancowry, in collaboration with the A & N AIDS Control Society and the State Blood Transfusion Council, commemorated World Blood Donor Day with active participation from healthcare staff, local residents, and personnel from various departments.

The event was led by Dr (Lt. Col.) Nirmal Bajpai, Officer-in-Charge of CHC Nancowry. This year’s theme, “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives”, resonated deeply across the Nancowry community.

Doctors, Medical staff, and residents joined hands to promote voluntary blood donation. The event saw significant involvement from Kardip Naval personnel, Government Departments, and local villagers, many of whom came forward to register as willing blood donors.

Dr (Lt. Col) Nirmal Bajpai emphasized the critical importance of safe blood supply and encouraged all eligible individuals to come forward regularly to donate blood, thus saving countless lives.

CHC Nancowry extends heartfelt thanks to all contributors for making the program a grand success and for supporting the life-saving mission of voluntary blood donation.
