Sri Vijaya Puram, March 23: The Andaman-Nicobar Chess Mahasangram 2.0, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 28th & 29th March 2026, has now been rescheduled to 11th & 12th April 2026 (2nd Saturday & Sunday) at Netaji Stadium due to administrative reasons.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Education and the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA). It is one of the biggest and most awaited chess tournaments in the islands and will be conducted under floodlights.
The event is open to all players with no entry fee. However, AICF registration for the year 2025–26 is mandatory for all participants.
