
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 23: The ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ programme, organised in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands under the directions of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), concluded successfully with the participation of over 500 students and youth.
Following the directions of the AICC, Ms. Diksha Dular, State President, Youth Congress, coordinated the programme, while Shri TSG Bhasker was appointed as the Overall In-charge for the programme by Shri Rangalal Halder, President ANTCC, who successfully managed the entire event.
The programme was graced by Smt. Shamina Shafique Ji, Observer, Chatron Ki Goonj Campaign & Former Member, National Commission for Women, who came from New Delhi to encourage the students. The major highlight of the programme was the screening of Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji’s speech on an LED screen.
Addressing the gathering, Shri TSG Bhasker described students as the backbone of the nation and stressed that their concerns must be heard. He also strongly condemned the detention of Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi by the Delhi Police.
Students also participated in an interactive session, raising issues such as paper leaks, unemployment, higher education, and local concerns. Several student representatives and Congress leaders also addressed the gathering.
The successful conduct of Chatron Ki Goonj programme under the supervision of Shri TSG Bhasker was widely appreciated by students and party leaders, making it one of the largest student interaction programmes organised in the history of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
