Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 29: The valedictory function of Cyber Security Awareness Month conducted by Department of Computer Science, JNRM concluded with series of educational and interactive activities aimed at promoting cyber security awareness and responsible digital practices among students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pearl Devdas, Principal, JNRM urged students to cultivate responsible digital habits, remain alert to emerging cyber threats, and use technology safely and ethically.
Earlier, the programme, Dr. Mukta Jagdish, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, JNRM highlighted the objectives of Cyber Security Awareness Month 2026, emphasizing the importance of awareness regarding cyber threats, online fraud, data privacy, and safe digital practices. An Expert talk was given to the students on the topic ‘Probity for Prosperity’ through PowerPoint presentation by Shri. A Santosh, SI, Crime Branch. Certificates were distributed to the winners of the various competitions organized as part of the observance.
