DBRAIT Hosts 20 Tribal Youths who are on Educational and Cultural Exposure Tour

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 12: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT) had the privilege of hosting 20 tribal youths from Nancowry Island as part of the Educational and Cultural Exposure Tour organized by the Department of Tribal Welfare. The visit was conducted under the programme “Connecting Rural Students Through Technology (CONRUSTT)”, which aims to bridge the gap between rural students and modern technology.

During their visit on Sept. 11, 2025, the youths were introduced to the institute, its academic programmes, and the diverse opportunities available in technical education. They explored various laboratories, visited the Fashion Designing exhibition, and participated in an interactive session at the Language Lab and automobile section, where they gained valuable insights into courses, skill development, and career prospects.

The group was guided around the campus by senior students of DBRAIT, who showcased the institute’s technical infrastructure, advanced equipment, and live projects developed by former students.
