
Diglipur, July 12: As part of the District Administration, North & Middle Andaman’s public outreach initiative, ‘Sampark Se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’, Shri Sushant Padha, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman, conducted an extensive village outreach programme and Jan Sunwai in the villages of Subashgram, Sitanagar, Kishorinagar and Paschimsagar under Diglipur Tehsil. Accompanied by PRI representatives and Heads of Departments, the Deputy Commissioner undertook field inspections, interacted with residents through door-to-door visits, reviewed the progress of developmental works, visited the households affected by recent flooding caused by heavy rainfall, inspected schools and Anganwadi Centres, assessed the delivery of essential public services and heard public grievances for their prompt redressal.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned Departments to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances and effective follow-up action on issues raised by residents. He emphasized that developmental works should be completed within the stipulated timelines while maintaining quality standards and ensuring that Government welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.
Reiterating the Administration’s commitment to people-centric governance, the Deputy Commissioner stated that “Sampark Se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” continues to strengthen public service delivery by taking governance to the doorstep of the people, facilitating timely redressal of grievances, closely monitoring developmental works and ensuring that the benefits of Government programmes reach even the remotest villages of North & Middle Andaman District.
