Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 11: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman inaugurated the revamped Registration Cell today at the Ground Floor of the District Office, South Andaman, as part of the District Administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen citizen-centric governance and improve the Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living for the general public.
The revamped Registration Cell has been established as a dedicated, accessible and citizen-friendly facility to assist members of the public in availing registration-related services. The Cell will provide necessary guidance and facilitation to citizens, enabling them to navigate registration processes more conveniently and efficiently.
The initiative is aimed at simplifying access to Government services, reducing inconvenience and improving the overall service delivery experience for citizens. By bringing registration-related assistance under a dedicated facility, the District Administration seeks to make the process more streamlined, transparent and responsive, particularly for citizens who require assistance in understanding procedures and completing the necessary formalities.
The revamped facility is also intended to contribute towards Ease of Doing Business by facilitating individuals, entrepreneurs, institutions and other stakeholders in accessing registration-related services in a more efficient and predictable manner. At the same time, improved accessibility and citizen assistance are expected to enhance Ease of Living by reducing procedural difficulties and making Government services more approachable and convenient for the public.
The establishment of the Registration Cell forms part of the District Administration’s broader commitment towards responsive governance, transparency, accessibility and efficient public service delivery.
