Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 3: The Deputy Education Office, South Andaman will organize the Inter School Primary Level Football League-cum-Knockout Tournament for Boys & Girls 2026 for Primary school students of the South Andaman Zone with the objective of promoting sportsmanship, physical fitness, teamwork and holistic development among young learners. All primary schools of the South Andaman Zone will participate in the tournament, which will serve as a platform to identify and nurture football talent at the grassroots level.
The tournament, open to both Girls and Boys, will be conducted w.e.f. August 5 to 13, 2026 at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Bhatubasti & Govt. Sr. Sec. School Girls Ground. This initiative underscores the Education Department’s sustained commitment to strengthening sports culture and encouraging active participation in sports.
