Directorate of Art & Culture in Collaboration with INTACH to Organise Film Making Workshop

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 17: The Directorate of Art and Culture, A&N Administration in collaboration with INTACH A&N Chapter, will be organizing a Film Making Workshop featuring renowned filmmaker Shri Tanmay Nag from Mumbai. The workshop will be held over three days from Sept. 26 to 28 from 3 pm to 6 pm in the auditorium of TGCE with the first session focusing on script writing, next session on direction and practical exercises, followed by a felicitation and certificate distribution ceremony on the final day. The evening will conclude with a special musical night in celebration of the birth anniversary of Bharat Kokila Lata Mangeshkar ji.

The Renowned filmmaker, Shri Nag has an impressive body of work, having created films for Disney+ Hotstar, the Children’s Film Society of India, and Pocket Films. His contributions to cinema have earned him several accolades, including recognition at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Short Film Festival 2020.

This workshop is open to adult islanders who are enthusiastic about learning the craft of filmmaking. It offers a unique opportunity to gain insights from an experienced professional and explore the creative and technical aspects of the medium. Participation is limited to 30 individuals, ensuring focused and personalized guidance.
