Sri Vijaya Puram, June 6: The Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, A & N Administration, organized a grand felicitation ceremony today at SPRC Training Hall, Marine Hill, Sri Vijaya Puram, to honor the winners of the Poster and Video Making Competitions conducted under the Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG) initiative. These competitions were based on themes related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting awareness and action toward sustainability in rural areas.
Shri Abhishek Gulia, Director, Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, presided over the ceremony and felicitated the winners with mementos and certificates in recognition of their creativity, efforts, and commitment to sustainable development. The prize money for the winners will be credited directly to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The Winners of the Competitions are as follows:
Video Making Competition:
•1st Prize: Mr. P. Hemant Kumar – Prothrapur Block
•2nd Prize: Mr. Pradeep Mazumder – Diglipur Block
•3rd Prize: Miss Roma Mazumder – Ferrargunj Block
Poster Making Competition:
•1st Prize: Mr. S. Mahesh Raaja – Prothrapur Block
•2nd Prize: Miss Ranjita Kabiraj – Diglipur Block
•3rd Prize: Miss G. Shivani – Ferrargunj Block
Following the felicitation, Shri Abhishek Gulia addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their relevance in creating clean, resilient, and sustainable communities. He lauded the enthusiasm of the youth and their role in driving change at the grassroots level. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
