Sri Vijaya Puram, July 13: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, A&N Administration organized “Monsoon Road Race – 05 Km Run” on 13th July, 2025 at 05.30 AM for Men & Women” to motive Fitness-for-All. In this occasion, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration being the as Chief Guest, flag off the run. As a part of this event altogether 200 are participants from School, College and various organizations as well as General Public have participated in the Run.
The run started from Netaji Stadium to Mazar Pahad and returned to Netaji Stadium as Finishing Point. In the Women (Open) category, Ms. P. Alaggamal c/o SAI secured 1st Position, Ms. Jasmin Ram c/o SAI secured 2nd position and Ms. Vinita Lakra c/o Govt. S.S. Calicut secured 3rd position. In the Men (Open) category, Mr. N.Eswaran R/o Bird Line secured 1st Position, Mr. Pintu Ram C/o PM Shri GSSS Prothrapur secured 2nd position and Mr. P.Sasi Kiran c/o SAI secured 3rd position, respectively. The above winners were honored with Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals with individual trophy by the Chief Guest. It is pertinent to mention here that children under the age category of 6-7 were also participated and completed the event successfully. The Chief Guest honoured these children with Consolidation Prize. Furthermore, the vote of thanks delivered by Shri. Vikram Singh, Director (Sports), SYA.
