Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 14: As part of its continued efforts to safeguard Government land from illegal occupation, the District Administration, South Andaman, continues the eviction drive today at Bambooflat village.
The operation was carried with active assistance from the Revenue Officials and the Police personnel. During the drive, an unauthorized temporary structure that had been erected on Government land along the road were dismantled and removed using excavators. As a result, an area measuring approximately 1000 sq. metres of prime Government land was successfully cleared of encroachments and restored to its original condition.
The District Administration remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting public land and maintaining the sanctity of Government property. The Administration has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards such encroachments and emphasized that any attempts to occupy or misuse Government land will invite strict legal action as per relevant laws and regulations.
