Sri Vijaya Puram, July 22: In its continued efforts to safeguard Government land from illegal occupation, the Revenue Department of South Andaman carried out a focused eviction operation today.
During the operation, fresh encroachments in the form of temporary structures erected over government revenue land at Atom Pahar, Garacharma village were successfully removed. As a result, approx. 200 square meters of government land was restored to its original status.
The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, has issued a stern warning to the general public to refrain from encroaching upon government land, emphasizing that the Administration maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward such violations. He further stated that strict action will be initiated not only against encroachers but also against those found aiding or abetting such illegal activities.
