Sri Vijaya Puram, May 25: Passengers and the general public have been informed that the Directorate of Shipping Services, in an effort to facilitate the timely return of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) school students residing in various Islands of the Southern Group to JNV Car Nicobar following their summer vacations, has amended and extended the previously announced sailing schedule of MV Sentinel.
Initially, the vessel was scheduled to sail for Car Nicobar via Little Andaman on 29th May 2025 at 0700 Hrs from Haddo Wharf, with the return voyage from Car Nicobar via Little Andaman on 30th May 2025 at 1600 HRS.
The vessel MV Sentinel will now sail for Campbell Bay via Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Nancowry, and Campbell Bay on 29th May, 2025 at 0700 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Sri Vijaya Puram on 31st May, 2025 at 2000 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry, Katchal, Teressa, Chowra, Car Nicobar and Little Andaman. Passengers holding tickets for the return voyage from Car Nicobar and Little Andaman to Sri Vijaya Puram have been advised to avail the above sailing from their respective stations as per the revised schedule.
