Sri Vijaya Puram, June 4: To mark the occasion of World Environment Day, Education Department, A&N Administration is organizing Reading Competition for the children of the Islands. The event will be held at the State Library, Middle Point, Sri Vijaya Puram tomorrow (June 5) at 10 am.
The reading competition will be conducted in three levels viz. Primary level (Class III – V), Middle level (Class VI – VIII) and Secondary level (Class IX – XII). The event being organized as part of World Environment Day celebration aims to promote love for reading and environmental awareness. Reading about environmental topics can lead to changes in behavior and lifestyle choices and analytical skills and also foster a deeper understanding of complex topics.
