Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 17: The Electricity Department, A&N Administration is organizing a Smart Meter Awareness Camps for the general public under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) as part of ‘Smart Meter Pakhwada’ from Feb. 19 to 23. As part of the awareness drive, camps and public interaction programmes will be conducted at the following locations:

7. Office of The Assistant Engineer V,Ferrargunj: 19/02/2026

During the awareness programme, consumers will be educated about working and advantages of prepaid smart meters; recharge procedures and available payment options; use of mobile applications for monitoring electricity consumption and redressal of consumer queries and grievances.
The Electricity Department appeals to all consumers to actively participate in the awareness camps and extend cooperation for the successful implementation of the Smart Meter programme, which aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and consumer convenience in power distribution.
