Sri Vijaya Puram, July 8: The general public have been informed that the existing Emergency/Ambulance Toll-Free Telephone Number 102, which was being used by all Health Institutions in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, has been changed to 112.
Henceforth, the Emergency/Ambulance Toll-Free Telephone Number 112 shall be used for all health institutions in the Union Territory, including G.B. Pant Hospital (Referral Hospital), District Hospitals (DHs), Community Health Centers (CHCs), Primary Health Centers (PHCs), and other Government Health Institutions.
Members of the general public have been requested to dial 112 in case of any medical emergency or if ambulance services are required.
