Sri Vijaya Puram, June 10: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Sri Vijaya Puram, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, will be organizing benefit disbursement and awareness programme under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) on June 19 at 5 PM at Aapda Prabandhan Bhawan, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The programme forms part of a nationwide event being organized by the Ministry of Labour & Employment and will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The proceedings of the central event will be live-streamed during the local programme.
During the event, PMVBRY benefits will be disbursed to eligible beneficiaries and information regarding the objectives and benefits of the scheme will be shared with employers, employees, representatives of industrial establishments and other stakeholders.
The programme aims to create awareness about PMVBRY and encourage wider participation in formal employment, thereby strengthening social security coverage and employment generation in the country.
Local dignitaries, representatives of employers’ associations, trade bodies, employees and beneficiaries are expected to attend the programme. EPFO has invited all concerned stakeholders to participate in the event and contribute to the successful implementation of this important initiative of the Government of India.
