Singapore, Nov. 23: A trilateral maritime exercise between the Indian Navy, Republic of Singapore Navy, and Royal Thai Navy is set to commence from 23 to 29 November 2025. The exercise begins with the Opening Ceremony in Changi Naval Base, Singapore from 23–25 November, featuring cross-deck visits, friendly sports fixtures, and professional exchanges designed to foster understanding, teamwork, and camaraderie among the participating navies.
This will be followed by the Sea Phase from 26–29 November along the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL). Ships and aircraft from the three nations will jointly undertake complex maritime manoeuvres and tactical drills that underscore their shared commitment to regional security, maritime cooperation, and maintaining peace and stability in the waters of the Indo-Pacific Region.
The closing ceremony of SITMEX-25 will be held onboard RSS Dauntless on 29 November at Phuket, marking the culmination of three days of intensive drills and camaraderie. The ceremony will celebrate the successful joint efforts, mutual learning, and strengthened maritime ties fostered among the participating Indian, Singaporean, and Thai naval forces.
SITMEX-25 highlights the growing synergy and strong bonds between the naval forces of India, Singapore, and Thailand, reflecting their shared vision of a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific. Through seamless cooperation and interoperability, the participating navies reaffirm their dedication to maritime partnership and mutual trust towards ensuring lasting maritime security and cooperation amongst friendly regional navies.
