Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 25: The Zonal Fisheries Office, Sri Vijaya Puram, South Andaman, has prepared a list of Non-Motorised (NM) fishing vessels and Mechanised Motorized (MM) fishing vessels including sports fishing vessels proposed for cancellation of registration following verification of the available records and assessment of the present physical status of the vessels concerned.
The list of vessels proposed for cancellation of registration is published in the official website of A&N Administration (https://andamannicobar.gov.in/), the website of Department of Fisheries (https://anifisheries.andamannicobar.gov.in) and Notice boards of Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman, Fisheries Sub Stations and Fish Landing Centres across South Andaman District, for information of vessel owners, operators, and other stakeholders. Any person having objections, claims, or relevant information with respect to any vessel included in the list may submit a representation, along with supporting documents, to the Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman, within 10(Ten) days from the date of publication of this notice.
All concerned have been requested to carefully examine the published list and submit their objections, claims, or relevant information, if any, within the prescribed period. No representation received after the expiry of the stipulated period shall be entertained.
