Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 15: As part of the five-day annual community living camp for UGED teacher trainees (Batch 2023–27) organized by Tagore Government College of Education commenced yesterday. The second day of the camp was observed today on the theme ‘community outreach and social awareness’ under the initiatives of ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’, ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, and Red Ribbon Club.
A total of 103 teacher trainees participated in the outreach activities, presenting Nukkad Nataks on socially significant issues such as prevention of HIV/AIDS, prevention of cyber abuse & fraud and prevention of drug & substance abuse.
As part of the community outreach programme, the trainees visited GSSS School Line, GSSS Tushnabad and GSSS Manglutan, where they showcased their performances aimed at spreading awareness on pressing social concerns.
