Sri Vijaya Puram, April 2: The Department of Environment & Forests, A&N Administration, through the Government Saw Mill, Chatham, has informed the general public and all stakeholders that the new E-SMART website has been launched under the domain: https://gsmchatham.andamannicobar.gov.in.
The existing E-SMART website https://esmart.and.nic.in/esmart is discontinued with effect from 31st March, 2026.
Accordingly, from 1st April, 2026 onwards, all users have been requested to access the new website for generating indents related to sawn timber and product cut pieces. The new platform has been designed to enhance operational efficiency, provide a better user experience, and ensure more streamlined service delivery.
Stakeholders and general public have been informed that indents submitted on or before 31st March, 2026 will remain valid. The sale process for these existing indents will continue as per the current procedure and will not be affected by this transition.
