IGNOU offers Certificate courses in foreign languages such as Russian, Spanish, Korean, Persian, German, Japanese, Arabic. Certificate courses are offered in almost all subjects such as Certificate in Organic Farming, Beekeeping, Disaster Management, Food and Nutrition, Rural Development, Event Management, Human Rights, Anti Human Trafficking, Gender in Law, Tourism Studies, Tribal Studies, Yoga, Solid Waste Treatment Techniques, Solid Waste Management, Information Technology, Smart City Development and Management etc. Minimum duration for Certificate courses is six months, while maximum duration is 2 years. The fee structure varies for the courses depending on the nature of the course and all certificate courses are offered in both the sessions of January and July. These courses would be highly beneficial for the students who are in colleges or passed out from colleges, and also for government officials and working professionals.
