Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 7: All commuters and the general public have been informed that, due to administrative reasons, all Harbour ferry services operating from Phoenix Bay will remain suspended from 1230 Hrs to 1800 Hrs on 09.08.2026. However, emergency ferry services between Phoenix Bay and Bambooflat shall continue to operate during the above-mentioned period.
Further, to facilitate the movement of commuters, additional passenger ferry services will be operated from Chatham Jetty to Bambooflat and Hope Town throughout the suspension period in addition to the promulgated schedule on this route.
All ferry services on the above-mentioned routes will resume normal operations from 1800 Hrs onwards on 09.08.2026. Therefore, all commuters and tourists have been advised to plan their movements accordingly.
