
Sri Vijaya Puram, June 15: The Clinical Research Unit Homoeopathy, Sri Vijaya Puram, organized a dedicated Health Wellness and Preventive Healthcare Program for the personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force on June 12 at the CISF Unit. This vital awareness initiative was conducted under the historic Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Ayush and the Ministry of Home Affairs to promote evidence-based Ayush healthcare, wellness strategies, and preventive health practices among dedicated CISF personnel and their families. Inspector R. Chidambaram (CISF) and Inspector Kalyan Chhetri (CISF) underscored the vital importance of force health readiness in a collaborative address at the event.
During the program, Dr. Santi Adhikary, Research Officer (H)/S-1, delivered a lecture focusing on the core principles of Homoeopathy and the impactful research initiatives driven by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, highlighting how ongoing research directly translates into clinical success and patient welfare. Expanding on specialized healthcare, Dr. Tanmoy Haldar (Research fellow) discussed the challenges of metabolic syndrome and occupational stress, offering actionable strategies on how to manage them effectively, while also sharing updates on collaborative research with the force and the impactful ‘Project Maan’ a nationwide initiative strengthening the mental health, emotional wellness, and stress-coping mechanisms of CISF personnel. Dr. Namita Gopal (Research fellow) highlighted the transformative impact of Homoeopathic therapeutics. To promote sustainable health, specialized Homeopathy Wellness Kits were distributed to 54 CISF personnel from the VSI Airport and ISTRAC units, providing immediate access to safe, natural, and preventive remedies.
