Car Nicobar, Nov. 6: An Inclusive Sports Meet was organized for Children with Special Needs by the Block Project Office, Car Nicobar on Nov. 3 & 4 at BJR Stadium, Car Nicobar under Inclusive Education Programme of Samagra Shiksha.
The Inclusive Sports Meet was organized for two days, and the opening ceremony began with an inclusive parade by the students and followed with a cultural programme. The chief guest, Dr. Baljeet Kaur, SVO declared the meet open. A total of 20 students participated in the Inclusive Sports Meet for CwSN. On the opening ceremony, 17 winners were awarded medals and certificates by the chief guest and the guest of honour, the First Captain of Perka Village Shri. Paul David. Shri. Swapan Paik, Block Project Officer, Car Nicobar welcomed the gathering.
During the closing ceremony of event, 37 winners received medals and certificates from the chief guest, Shri Shambhu Nath Kundu, Assistant Engineer (ALHW) and the guest of honour, the First Captain of Tamaloo village, Shri. Paul Benjamin.
