Port Blair, Aug. 11: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,94,516 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23923 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 27, 707 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 166340.

Port Blair, Aug. 11: Three positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 2 were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 9 flights with 1378 passengers arrived, out of which, 894 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 110 passengers and the reports are awaited.

INTER ISLAND SECTOR:
MV Campbell Bay will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 18.08.2022 (Thu) at 1000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 20.08.2022 (Sat) at 0900 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.
Passenger Tickets for onward journey will be issued on 18.08.2022 at Haddo Wharf two hours prior to the departure time of the vessel based on the list provided by Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Port Blair and also after due verification of COVID Test Certificate and Islander Card/Local Certificate/Tribal Pass etc.

Discussed Projects being executed by A&N Administration independently during last 5 years. Also, on completion of five years of constitution of Islands Development Agency, reviewed current status & progress of Infrastructure/Hospitality/ Tourism/Strategic mega projects in A&N Islands through its aegis- in particular the substantial & unprecedented Investments in A&N Islands consequent to these initiatives.
