Port Blair, Sept. 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands led by Shri Ajoy Bairagi, State President through Shri Prakash Adhikari, State Vice President & State Incharge, Seva Saptah have started week long celebration on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s 70th Birthday named as “Seva Saptah”. The party has listed a series of programmes which commenced from 14th Sept. 2020 and will end on 20th Sept. 2020:

Port Blair, Sept. 16: At a simple function held at the PBMC Headquarters, the Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council, Shri. N. K. Udhaya Kumar facilitated Master B. Rajesh, S/o B. Dhana Rao, R/o Haddo who secured 99.01% in the JEE Entrance Exams. Master Rajesh is a student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. His father, Shri. B. Dhana Rao is working as a Casual Mazdoor in the Port Blair Municipal Council. The Civic Chief congratulated Master Rajesh and wished him all the best for his future endeavors. Councilliors of various wards present during the occasion blessed master B.Rajesh for his efforts and also appreciated his father Shri.B.Dhana Rao, who despite of his meek background supported the youngster in every aspect which led to his path breaking success.

Port Blair, Sept. 16: The State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands, Shri. Ajoy Bairagi has congratulated Smti. Saraswathi Narayan (a resident of Sippighat, South Andaman) on being elected as the President of South Andaman District of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Port Blair, Sept. 16: Miss V. K. Mariyam Bibi, Coordinator, North & Middle Mahila Congress along with Mahila Congress workers celebrated the 36th All India Mahila Congress Foundation Day at Ferrargunj with the under-previleged people. On this occasion masks were distributed to the needy. The Foundation Day was also celebrated at Mayabunder by Mahila Block Congress committee.
