Port Blair, Sept. 10: The Tourism Department conducted Beach Cleanliness Drive today at Elephanta beach, Swaraj Dweep, a preferred tourist destination for water sports activities in Swaraj Dweep frequented by a good number of National and International tourists. The cleanliness drive was carried out as part of 'Clean Coast, Safe Sea' campaign launched by Gol.

Port Blair, Sept. 11: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,341 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,970 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 459 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,68,743.

Port Blair, Sept. 11: One COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands from incoming flight passenger who arrived yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1754 passengers arrived, out of which, 1645 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 85 passengers and the reports are awaited.
