Port Blair, April 26: The five-day training program conducted by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) at Fire Service Training Centre, Port Blair for the personnel of the Andaman & Nicobar Police on Medical First Responder has been successfully concluded. Shri Manjeet Sheoran, IPS Superintendent of Police (DM), graced the event as the Chief Guest for the Concluding Ceremony.

Diglipur, April 26: On 23/04/24 a complaint regarding theft of ATM card was received at PS Diglipur. According to the complainant, the stolen ATM card was used to fraudulently withdraw Rs. 35,000/- from his account. A case of theft was registered at PS Diglipur U/S 457/380/34 IPC.

Acting swiftly, Inspector K. Binoj, SHO of PS Diglipur, formed a specialized team consisting of SI Dhiraj Kishen, HC Khokan Das, and PCs Hari Krishna, Kamal Pandey, Trilochni, and Suresh. The team conducted a thorough investigation, and through their diligent efforts and extensive search at all suspected areas, they were able to track down and apprehend three suspects, namely, 1) Sukumar Mondal, S/o Late Amulya Mondal, (48) yrs, R/o Subashgram, 2) Bishmoy Das, S/o Shri. Bipul Das, (32), R/o Subashgram & 3) Bacha Das, S/o Late Hari Das, (34) R/o Subashgram.
