25,031 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years administered both doses of vaccine
Port Blair, July 19: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,84,811 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,623 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 25,031 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 38283.

Port Blair, July 19: Ten positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 9 were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 7 flights with 884 passengers arrived, out of which, 782 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 68 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party along with all office bearers of BJP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has condoled the demise of Smt Ram Kaur W/o Sardar Avtar Singh aged 71 yrs, R/o Dollygunj. She expired after prolonged illness yesterday (18-07-22) at 6.45 pm at her residence.
The leaders pray to the Almighty God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Port Blair, July 18: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary to implement uniform rules for availing Child Care Leave (CCL) in all departments of Andaman & Nicobar Administration for convenience of working mothers in taking care of their children as per prescribed norms of Government of India.
