Port Blair, July 5: Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (speed 30-40 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on July 6. Due to squally weather, the wind speed is likely to exceed 45 kmph over Southeast Bay and adjoining Andaman Sea. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea till July 6.

Port Blair, July 5: The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India has started the registration for National Overseas Scholarship Scheme from ST candidate for the selection year 2023-24. The scholarship is awarded to ST candidate for pursuing higher studies abroad for the Masters, PhD and Post-Doctoral programs. A total of 20 slots are available for scholarships.
