Port Blair, Feb 21: The Electricity Department, A&N Administration has filed the Petition for approval of Annual Performance Review (APR) of FY 2022-23 and Aggregate Revenue Requirement (ARR) Tariff Proposal for FY 2023-24 vide Petition No. 97/2023 before the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and Union Territories Petition. The same has been published in the Daily Telegram on 16.02.2023. The Commission shall hold a public hearing at Swaraj Dweep & Port Blair. The date /venue of the hearing are as follows:-

It is brought to the notice of general public/ consumers and Government Departments that power supply will remain suspended on Feb. 25, 2023 in connection with repairing of UG cable jumper, repairing of HT bushings, replacement of ABS at Govindapuram distribution transformer, St. the areas viz. Panel V – Hope Town, Naya Basti, Tapu Basti, Shore Point, Andabeda, Stewartgunj complete, Govindapuram, Azad Nagar will be affected from 8 am to 2 pm on Feb 25. The works will be carried out subject to weather condition and if the work completes earlier the feeder will be charged accordingly.

Port Blair, Feb 21: The last date for submitting filled-in application for Transmission Assignee’s (Hindi, Nicobari, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Bangla language), Comperes in Hindi (Kisanvani, Mahila Jagat, Bal Jagat) and Comperes for Hindi Yuvavani in All India Radio, Port Blair has been extended till 27th Feb 2023. The application form can be collected from Duty Room of All India Radio. Those willing to apply are requested to submit filled-in application form along with requisite documents in the office of All India Radio on any working day on or before 27.02.2023.

Port Blair, Feb 21: The vessel Sindhu is scheduled to sail for Vizag on Feb.25, 2023 at 1000 hrs from Haddo Wharf. The unutilized/surrendered tickets, if any available from the reserved quota and unsold tickets including the Seating Class tickets will be issued to the general public on Feb.24, 2023 from 1400 hrs onwards at STARS ticketing Counters, Phoenix Bay on First cum First Serve basis.
