Port Blair, Jan 18: The public have been informed that the current Q-Series registration for vehicles has exhausted and present running series is R-Series. Hence, the Fancy Registration marks for the next series i.e. S-Series would be available for online booking from Jan. 24 onwards along with the existing R-Series. Those vehicle owners who intend to reserve registration mark of their choice can avail this facility by submitting online application along with requisite fee in the Vahan Portal.

Port Blair, Jan 18: Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has requested the Chief Secretary for scheduling of ships to Southern Group of Islands (Car Nicobar, Nancowry and Campbell Bay) for the convenience of the stranded students and Islanders.

Port Blair, Jan 13: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has highlighted four major issues of Shaheed Dweep Island before the Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration and requested to resolve these issues.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary the Member of Parliament mentioned that the first major issue is that the Island is witnessing indiscriminate power cuts, following faults in lines and increasing power demands, which this is causing a great deal of inconvenience to public, losses to businessmen, bringing bad name to Shaheed Dweep Tourism and causing hardship to the students, who are already trying to adopt to online mode of studies.

Port Blair, Jan 18: The School of Extension and Development Studies of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new programme - Master of Arts (Corporate Social Responsibility) (MACSR) programme commencing from January 2022 session. The MACSR is meant for CSR professionals across India and for graduates / post-graduates interested in pursuing career as a CSR Professional.
