Port Blair, June 21: After completion of the process of documents verification of all the candidates who have applied for empanelling as casual Anchor/ Presenter, Casual Resource Person, Casual Broadcast Assistant and Casual Computer Graphics Operator, the list of all those who have cleared for next round of selection process has been displayed in the Notice Board of Doordarshan Kendra Port Blair. The date of screen test will be intimated individually to the candidates soon.

Port Blair, June 21: Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on June 22, 23, 24 & 25. Squally weather with strong surface wind speed 40-50 kmph is very likely to be along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast. Sea condition is also likely to be rough to very rough.

Port Blair, June 21: The valedictory function of the two days training programme for Mid-Level Officers in Artificial Intelligence for various Department of A&N Administration, conducted by the Department of IT and Administrative Reforms and Training Wing of the Administration in association with M/s Wadhwani Foundation for Digital Transformation, New Delhi was held today in DBRAIT auditorium. Altogether, 231 participants attended the training programme.

Port Blair, June 20: Together with the rest of the world, the 10^th edition of International Day of Yoga (IDY) will be observed in A&N Islands too on June 21, 2024. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Yoga for Self and Society’. As part of the Yoga Day celebration, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in his letter addressed to all Gram Pradhans, has urged them to make holistic health a people-led movement by spreading more awareness about Yoga and Millet.
