Port Blair, June 9: Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Hemant Soren on five day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands met Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas. HLG briefed about the ongoing and forthcoming mega development Infra Projects being carried out by Andaman and Nicobar Administration in various sectors and discussed steps taken to promote National Integration.

Port Blair, June 9: A delegation of Ranchi Association, Port Blair along with tribal members of Andaman and Nicobar Islands held a fruitful meeting with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Hemant Soren on Friday morning here at Circuit House, South Point, Port Blair.
The delegation comprised of President Mr. Febiyanus Toppo, Vice-President, Mr. Suman Lakra, General Secretary Adv. Prakash Minj, Secretary, Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Cashier, Mr. Phool Kumar, Joint Secretaries Mr. Sunil Minj and Mr. Anil Toppo.

Port Blair, June 9: Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Islands and thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is also likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on June 10, 11, 12 & 13.

Port Blair, June 9: In a letter addressed to the Director, Health Services, A&N Administration, the ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder has highlighted issues concerning the unavailability of healthcare services in the Community Health Centers of Rangat and Diglipur.
He said that the patients are facing numerous challenges to acquire their basic amenities due to the shortage of male doctors and infrequent visits of specialist doctors at the Community Health Centers.

Port Blair, June 9: The admit card will be issued to eligible candidates for the post of Laboratory Assistant and LGC (Library Restorer) in JNRM from 12/06/2023 onwards. Candidates have been requested to bring one passport size photograph to collect their admit card. The admit card will be issued from 9 am to 4.30 pm at JNRM Recruitment Cell.
