Port Blair, April 20: The District Administration in its continuous efforts to contain the spread of the pandemic has been actively promoting COVID-19 vaccination. In order to protect the children of the Child Care Institutions, the District Child Protection Unit under District Administration, South Andaman has conducted vaccination drive for Children between the ages from 12 to 14 years in all the Institutions of South Andaman in collaboration with the Mobile Vaccination Team of Health Department on 20th April 2022.

Port Blair, April 20: As a part of the ongoing encroachment eviction drive from Government Revenue Land, the Tehsil Team of South Andaman headed by Revenue Inspectors of the area have removed / cleared the fresh encroachment by way of temporary huts, plantation of arecanut, coconut and banana saplings and fencing. An area of 1000 Sq.mtrs. in Bambooflat and an area of 1500 Sq.mtrs in Caddlegunj were restored to Government.
