Port Blair, June 20: The Admit Cards for Open Recruitment Examination for the post of Laboratory Assistant and LGC (Library Restorer) of JNRM is being issued to the eligible candidates. All the eligible candidates have been requested to collect the Admit Cards from the Office of JNRM, Port Blair by June 24, 2023 by 4 pm. They may bring one passport size photograph for collecting the Admit Cards.

Port Blair, June 19: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to construct a ‘Muktidham’ at Port Blair for which a site has been proposed by the member of Parliament in front of the Hornbill Nest Resort, Port Blair.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration the Member of Parliament mentioned that currently, most of the final rituals according to Hindu customs are carried out at Corbyn's Cove Beach, which is a popular tourist hotspot in Port Blair. However, this arrangement often poses challenges for local residents who wish to perform the last rituals of their departed loved ones as the beach is a bustling tourist location.
