Port Blair, June 23: As part of the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 22, 2024, the staff of the Anti-Narcotics Police Station organized awareness programs at Saraswati Shishu Mandir Sr. Sec. School. Approximately 200 students participated in the sessions, where they were educated about the harmful consequences of drug abuse. Additionally, the students actively took a pledge to stay away from drugs.

Port Blair, June 23: The Andaman & Nicobar Administration, in collaboration with the Wadhwani Center for Government Digital Transformation (WGDT) of the Wadhwani Foundation, successfully completed a three-day intensive reskilling program for its leadership and mid-level officers. The training, held from June 19 to 21 focused on cutting-edge technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Computer Vision (CV), Generative AI (GenAI), and Data-Driven Insights for policy transformation, program enhancement, and improved service delivery.

Port Blair, June 23: On the occasion of 10th International Day of Yoga 2024, an Exhibition- cum-Awareness Programme on Millets was organized by the AYUSH Wing of DHS at the Community Hall, Chouldari Village yesterday. Smti Tapasi Saha, Pardhan, Gram Panchayat Chouldhari was the chief guest on the occasion. She lauded the efforts of AYUSH Wing for organizing this awareness camp on Millets for the benefit of the general public. Smti Chetali, Samiti Member also stressed on the need for organizing such awareness camps on nutritional values of Millets.
