Port Blair, June 23: Due to administrative reasons, the vessel MV Sindhu will sail for Little Andaman on June 24 at 2100 hrs from Haddo Wharf instead of June 26 at 2100 hrs. Similarly, MV Sindhu will sail back to Port Blair on June 25 at 0900 hrs instead of June 27 at 0900 hrs from Little Andaman.

Port Blair, June 22: The Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, launched the PM-Kisan mobile app, which incorporates the face authentication feature, as part of the ambitious ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi’ scheme to provide income assistance to farmers. The app exemplifies the implementation of cutting-edge technology, where farmers can conveniently complete their e-KYC remotely, from the comfort of their homes, without the need for OTP or fingerprints. Moreover, it enables farmers to assist up to 100 other farmers in completing their e-KYC process at their respective homes. Acknowledging the significance of mandatory e-KYC completion, the Government of India has expanded the capability to State Government officials to carry out e-KYC for 500 farmers each.
