Port Blair, Aug 26: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands to provide financial assistances of Rs.5000/- to all daily wage earners of the unorganised sector and free ration to all PDS card holders for next three months similar to the free ration being provided to the PHH and AAY categories in view of imposition of complete lockdown on weekends and current lockdown for the entire month of August, 2020.

DCSA Ensuring Effective Management of COVID-19 Facilities
Port Blair, Aug 26: The A&N Administration is making attempts to rectify the wrong at the lone referral hospital of A&N Islands, the GB Pant. Based on a request made to the Chief Secretary by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman (DCSA), Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS to manage Covid facilities at GB Pant in an efficient manner, the Andaman & Nicobar Administration has appointed a Nodal Officer to look after the Covid management in GB Pant Hospital.

Port Blair, Aug 26: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to making arrangements of transportation, accommodation facilities for the candidates appearing for JEE (main) & NEET 2020 examinations at Port Blair. The Exams are scheduled to be held from 1st - 6th and on 13th September 2020 respectively.
