Congress leaders and workers protested under the chairmanship of ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder and ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker. The Satyagraha was graced by AICC Minority Department In-charge of A&N Islands Dr. Jani Javid.

Port Blair, April 28: The general public have been informed that Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will address the citizens of India through his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on April 30. In this episode, the Hon'ble Prime Minister will reach out to the fishermen, fish farmer, beneficiary under PMMSY in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program through video conferencing. In this endeavour, the Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration will be organizing a programme at Fish Landing Center, Guptapara on April 30, 2023 from 10 am to 12.30 pm for screening of Prime Minister’s special ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Program.

World Veterinary Day is an annual event celebrated on the last Saturday of April to raise awareness about the importance of veterinarians and their contributions to animal health, welfare, and public health. The theme for this year is ‘Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in the veterinary profession’ to advocate for the fairness and equity of the efforts of veterinarians, veterinary associations, and others.
