Port Blair, May 22: The Women Helpline 181, under Directorate of Social Welfare, successfully organized a webinar focused on ‘Awareness on Gender Equality’. This initiative was part of a broader effort to promote gender equality and empower women and children through various support mechanisms, including the newly established Women and Child Development Control Room.

Port Blair, May 22: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced admission/ re-registration to its academic programmes offered through open and Distance learning (ODL) online mode for the academic session commencing in July 2024. The university offers intensive Masters Degree programmes, Bachelors Degree programme, PG diploma, Diploma and certificate programmes in various subjects.
