Port Blair, Nov. 11: The staff of PS Central Crime Station conducted a raid in Dignabad area and arrested 05 for gambling.

On 10th Nov. 2020 Inspr. Mahesh Kr. Yadav, SHO, PS Central Crime Station received credible information regarding Gambling in Dignabad Seashore. Immediately, a team comprising SI Santosh R. Shenoy, ASI Vijay Shankar, Head Constable Upender Singh, Constable Hari Krishna Yadav, G. Ravi and P. K. Mondal was formed and sent to Dignabad Seashore for conducting raid.

Port Blair, Nov. 10: BSNL, Andaman & Nicobar Telecom Circle has regretted to announce that the OFC network of BSNL has been unfortunately damaged by private Telecom Service Provider (TSP), M/s AIRTEL. Due to indiscriminate and careless underground digging operations carried out by this TSP, the underground OFC cables have been severed at more than SIX places in and around Port Blair, within the last fortnight, by the contractors of the TSP. BSNL had cautioned them on several occasions to be careful in their activities, but to no avail.
